TBILISI, June 12 (Reuters) - Georgia’s central bank said it kept its refinancing rate at 6.5%on Wednesday.
The central bank had cut the rate to 6.75% in January and to 6.50% in March and kept it unchanged in May.
Consumer prices in Georgia rose 0.5% month-on-month in May after climbing 0.2% in April. Annual inflation in May stood at 4.7%, up from 4.1% in the preceding month and 2.5% an year ago. (Reporting by Margarita Antidze)
