Frankfurt train station closed as police investigate suspected bank robbery

FRANKFURT, Aug 2 (Reuters) - Frankfurt’s main railway station was closed due to a police operation on Friday, German rail operator Deutsche Bahn said on Twitter, with police saying officers were responding to reports of an apparent bank robbery.

A police spokeswoman said at least two suspects were on the run.
