N.Y. pharmacist pleads guilty to $9 million online drug scheme

A New York pharmacist has pleaded guilty to conspiring to sell millions of prescription pills online in a scheme that prosecutors that enabled him to illegally earn $9 million.

Maurice Malin, 83, pleaded guilty on Wednesday in Manhattan federal court to one-count of conspiring to distribute in connection with what prosecutors said was a scheme sell the sedative butalbital on the internet.
