LONDON, Jan 6 (Reuters) - Britain's 610-megawatt Hinkley Point B7 nuclear power reactor was restarted on Tuesday morning after shutting down unexpectedly on Friday afternoon, a spokeswoman for operator British Energy BGY.L said.
“It’s raising load now,” she said.
Data from National Grid showed the reactor in southwest England was running at 30-MW at 1100 GMT on Tuesday.
The other reactor at the power station, which shut down unexpectedly early on Monday morning, remained closed, data showed. (Reporting by Daniel Fineren)
