Hungary cbank's key inflation gauge rises to 3.7% in Jan

BUDAPEST, Feb 13 (Reuters) - Hungary’s core inflation adjusted for the effects of indirect taxes rose to 3.7% in January from 3.5% in December, the National Bank of Hungary said on Thursday.

Figures released by the Central Statistics Office earlier in the day showed headline inflation rising to 4.7% year-on-year in January, well above expectations. (Reporting by Gergely Szakacs)
