LONDON, April 29 (Reuters) - European shares turned negative on Thursday morning, with BP BP.L leading the energy sector lower, on worries about an oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
At 0727 GMT, the FTSEurofirst 300 .FTEU3 index of top European shares was down 0.2 percent at 1,054.81 points.
Index heavyweight BP was down 1.8 percent.
