Shares in bus and train operator Arriva ARI.L are down 3.9 percent as the firm warns that the slowdown in passenger growth on Britain's railways is likely to hit its results for the first half of the year.
“Today’s trading update is disappointing, showing a weakening in all areas of the business, especially on the CrossCountry rail franchise. Further deterioration in trading is likely to emerge in time,” analysts at Investec say in a note.
