SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION
The U.S. regulator appointed John Ramsay as deputy director in the division of trading and markets. Prior to this, Ramsay was with private consulting firm Regulatory Fundamentals Group.
JPMORGAN ASSET MANAGEMENT
The asset management arm of JPMorgan Chase & Co JPM.N appointed Michael O'Brien to the newly created role of global head of its institutional client group based in London, effective Sept. 27. O'Brien most recently led Blackrock's institutional investment management business across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The publisher of Money Fund Report promoted Mike Krasner to managing editor. Krasner became an iMoneyNet editor in 2001.
MITCHELL HARTLEY ADVISERS LLC
The firm appointed Jeffrey Bechtel as managing member effective Aug. 23. Bechtel was previously senior vice president at Jefferies & Co’s Financial Institutions Group.
LAKEVIEW INVESTMENT MANAGER
The hedge fund appointed Tony Lissuzzo as portfolio manager of the Lakeview Opportunity Funds based in Chicago. Most recently he was head of new investments at Man Group Plc EMG.L.
DBS’s head of consumer banking, Rajan Raju, resigned after 11 years with Southeast Asia’s biggest bank and is joining Deutsche Asset Management in a senior role, sources familiar with the move said. [ID:nSGE67T08X]

Citi appointed Endre Markos as head of electronic markets and platforms, Asia-Pacific, for its securities and fund services business based in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Citi, Markos was with Bloomberg LP for nearly 15 years.

The Swiss private bank appointed three new executives in Singapore. Vincent Wang joins from Morgan Stanley as head of treasury and execution Asia; Liew Chin Choy joins from Merrill Lynch International Bank Ltd as head mid-office; and Charles Yeoh joins from Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management as senior portfolio manager.
Alfa-Bank added Maxim Pershin and Ilya Poz, co-heads of corporate and investment banking since June 2010, as executive board members.
