Swatch sees 2010 sales above 6 bln francs -CEO

SHANGHAI, May 26 (Reuters) - Watchmaker Swatch Group UHR.VX is expected to see turnover in 2010 exceed 6 billion Swiss francs ($5.2 billion), its chief executive said on Wednesday.

Nick Hayek said the company was expected to post record turnover and profit for 2010. He was attending the opening of the Swatch Art Peace Hotel in Shanghai.

Swatch Group, which supplies the bulk of watch parts to Swiss watchmakers including Richemont CFR.VX, has brands including Omega, Longines and Blancpain. ($1=1.155 Swiss Franc) (Reporting by Farah Master; Editing by Jacqueline Wong)
