BRUSSELS, Aug 31 (Reuters) - The European Commission said on Tuesday it was concerned about a proposed deal between Russia and Poland over gas flows via the Yamal pipeline.
“There’s a general requirement that infrastructure like this should be managed independently and that there should be access to third party operators,” said Commission spokesman Joseph Hennon. “We want to be certain this is not just a pipeline which is operated by one company or two companies.”
