*BAGHDAD - A bomb attached to a car exploded and wounded three civilians in Baghdad’s western district of Amiriya, an Interior Ministry source said.
*BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb targeting an Iraqi army patrol wounded two soldiers in southern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
*BAGHDAD - Two suspects were arrested as they were trying to plant a bomb under a vehicle in a car park of the Yarmouk hospital in western Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A sticky bomb attached to a mini-bus went off, killing three passengers and wounding 11, in eastern Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb went off near a police patrol, wounding three policemen near al-Shaab National Stadium in central Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
BAGHDAD - Three roadside bombs exploded in quick succession, killing one person and wounding three, in the Bab al-Muadham area of north-central Baghdad, an Interior Ministry source said.
MOSUL - Gunmen attacked an Iraqi army checkpoint, killing one soldier and wounding another, in eastern Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.
JURF AL-SAKHAR - Gunmen in a car killed three off-duty members of the government-backed Sahwa militia and wounded two others on Saturday as they were leaving a mosque in the town of Jurf al-Sakhar, 60 km (40 miles) south of Baghdad, a source in the Babel province military operation centre said.
Another police source confirmed the same figures but said not all were members of the Sahwa militia.
BAGHDAD - Gunmen in a car shot at a police patrol, killing one policeman and wounded two, on Saturday night in Baghdad’s western Ghazaliya district, an Interior Ministry source said.
