FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Dec 8

Dec 8 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1300 GMT on Tuesday.

BAGHDAD - A series car bomb attacks killed at least 112 people and wounded 425 in different areas of Baghdad, officials said, the deadliest attacks in more than six weeks.

FALLUJA - A sticky bomb attached to a car killed two people on Monday night in central Falluja, 50 km (35 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.

GARMA - Gunmen shot and wounded a police colonel at his home in the town of Garma, 30 km (20 miles) northwest of Baghdad, police said.

FALLUJA - A bomb planted near a house killed one man and wounded three others in central Falluja, police said.

BAGHDAD - Four civilians were wounded when a roadside bomb went off near a U.S. military patrol in the northeast suburbs of the capital, police said.
