MAN plans to expand into renewables-paper

FRANKFURT, Nov 22 (Reuters) - German industrial conglomerate MAN AG (MANG.DE) plans to expand into renewable energies such as biofuels and solar power, its chief executive told Die Welt newspaper.

Chief Executive Hakan Samuelsson said the company also was considering expanding other operations, the newspaper reported, without giving more details.

The services unit Ferrostaal would lead the expansion into renewables, Samuelsson said, according to Die Welt.
