FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, April 23

April 23 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1430 GMT on Friday.

BAGHDAD - Thirteen blasts killed at least 56 people and wounded 121 others in different parts of the Iraqi capital around the time of Muslim midday prayers, mostly near Shi'ite mosques and at a marketplace, an interior ministry source said.

KHALDIYA - Six roadside bombs placed near the homes of a judge and police officers killed eight people, seven of them from the same family, and wounded 10 others in Khaldiya, 83 km (50 miles) west of Baghdad, police said.

SHIRQAT - Police found a body of man with gunshot wounds in the head and chest near the river in Shirqat, 300 km (190 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

BAGHDAD - A roadside bomb went off in a shop wounded five people in Doura district of southern Baghdad, police said.
