YALTA, Ukraine, Oct 1 (Reuters) - Russia’s long-awaited accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO) could be agreed within 2-4 months, Russian Finance Minister Alexei Kudrin said on Friday.
“I think that (it will be) two-three, at most four months until all the work is completed,” Kudrin told a news briefing on the sidelines of a conference in the Ukrainian Black Sea resort of Yalta.
He added that the actual accession procedure could take six to 12 months after that, indicating that Russia could well become a WTO member in 2011. (Reporting by Olzhas Auyezov; Writing by Toni Vorobyova; Editing by Steve Gutterman)
