LONDON, Nov 29 (Reuters) - Russian demand for flat products is back to pre-crisis levels, the head of strategic planning at Severstal CHMF.MM, Russia's largest steelmaker, said on Monday.
The country’s demand for long products is showing a slower recovery at 70 percent of 2007-2008 levels, Severstal’s Andrey Laptev told a steel conference organised by Metal Bulletin.
“We have a high degree of confidence in the Russian steel demand going forward,” he said.
