Prosecutor says 54 missing in Russia hydro accident

MOSCOW, Aug 17 (Reuters) - Russian prosecutors said on Monday that 54 people were still unaccounted for after the fatal accident at the Sayano-Shushenskaya hydroelectric power station in Siberia.

Eight people were killed in the accident and 10 were injured, said a spokeswoman for the investigative committee of Russia’s prosecutor general’s office.
