LONDON, Nov 17 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse CSGN.VX has hired Charles Donald, the senior Nomura 8604.T banker who previously helped Lehman Brothers build a British corporate broking business, an internal memo from the Swiss bank said.
Donald, who had been Nomura’s head of British investment banking, will join as a managing director reporting to Credit Suisse’s head of British investment banking, Sebastian Grigg.
Before Nomura acquired the European operations of Lehman Brothers, Donald spent seven years at Lehman, including stints as head of corporate broking and head of European equity research.
"At Lehman, he played a key role in building a successful corporate broking business with clients in both the FTSE 100 and FTSE 250," the memo said. (Visit the Reuters DealZone bloghere) (Reporting by Quentin Webb; Editing by Dan Lalor)
