FACTBOX-Security developments in Iraq, Sept 27

Sept 27 (Reuters) - Following are security developments in Iraq at 1650 GMT on Sunday.

* KHALDIYA - Iraqi and U.S. forces on Thursday arrested a suspect for the 2006 kidnapping and murder of at least 13 members of Iraq’s national tae kwon do team. The arrest took place near Khaldiya, 83 km (50 miles) southwest of Baghdad, the U.S. military said in a statement on Sunday.

* MOSUL - A bomb at a rubbish tip killed one child and wounded three in western Mosul, 390 km (240 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

* MOSUL - Gunmen released a female Christian doctor who had had been kidnapped on Saturday, police said.

RAMADI - A suicide car bomber killed three policemen and wounded eight when he detonated himself outside a police station near Ramadi, 100 km (60 miles) west of Baghdad, local police colonel Ahmed Abood said.

MOSUL - Gunmen killed an off-duty policeman on Saturday in a parking lot in central Mosul, police said.

MOSUL - A roadside bomb targeting a police patrol wounded two policemen on Saturday in northern Mosul, police said.
