OTTAWA, March 4 (Reuters) - Three Canadian soldiers were killed and two were wounded in southern Afghanistan late on Tuesday when their armored vehicle triggered a roadside bomb, military officials said on Wednesday.
The incident took place in Arghandab district around six miles (10 km) northwest of Kandahar as the troops were conducting security operations. Canada has now lost 111 soldiers since sending forces to Afghanistan in late 2002.
