NEW YORK, Dec 30 (Reuters) - The U.S. dollar climbed to a fresh three-month high against the yen on Wednesday in the New York session as it benefited from year-end flows in thin trade and from the view the U.S. economy is on the road to recovery.
The dollar was last up 0.3 percent against the yen at 92.33 after going as high as 92.37 yen JPY=, according to Reuters data. It climbed as high 92.39 on electronic trading platform EBS.
The dollar had already broken to three-month highs against the yen earlier in the global session, according to both Reuters and EBS data. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by Padraic Cassidy)
