US stock futures jump, US Treasuries fall after report on Bin Laden death

TOKYO, May 2 (Reuters) - US stock futures SPc1 rose about 0.7 percent and U.S. Treasury prices fell on Monday on reports that Al Qaeda’s elusive leader Osama bin Laden is dead and his body has been recovered by U.S. authorities. [ID:nWNA7438]

S&P futures SPc1 rose to a three-year high of 1,371.00 while the yield on the 10-year U.S. bonds rose to 3.31 percent from below 3.28 percent before the news. (Reporting by Hideyuki Sano; Editing by Joseph Radford)
