TOKYO, June 23 (Reuters) - Honda Motor Co 7267.T said production at Chinese joint venture Guangqi Honda's two factories would resume on Thursday after a one-day disruption caused by a strike, now ended, at a Chinese factory of Japan's NHK Spring 5991.T.
NHK Spring could not immediately be reached for comment.
NHK Spring said earlier that workers at a majority-owned factory in Guangzhou, NHK-UNI Spring (Guangzhou) Co, had gone on strike late Tuesday. The factory supplies to Toyota Motor Corp 7203.T, Nissan Motor Co 7201.T and Honda Motor Co 7267.T, a NHK Spring spokesman said.
A Nissan spokesman said the impact on its factories from the short-lived strike at NHK Spring would be limited to a few hours’ delay. Toyota said it expected no added disruption from NHK Spring, although its Guangzhou factory remains idled due to a supply cut from another supplier. [ID:nTOE65M03P] (Reporting by Chang-Ran Kim)
