(Reuters) - BroadSoft Inc BSFT.O, an Internet communications company, on Wednesday priced shares in its initial public offering at $9 per share, the lower end of its expected range.
The Gaithersburg, Maryland-based company is offering 7.5 million shares at $9 each, raising about 67.5 million, with an over-allotment option of 1.1 million shares.
It earlier gave a price band of $9 to $11 per share.
BroadSoft, which sells software that enables voice and multimedia Internet communications, said the 7.5 million shares being sold include 2.45 million shares by selling shareholders.
Major shareholders of the company include funds associated with Bessemer Venture Partners, Grotech Partners and Charles River Ventures.
The underwriters are being led by Goldman Sachs & Co and Jefferies & Co.
