NEW YORK, Feb 17 (Reuters) - A team of UBS Wealth Management financial advisers in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, left the unit of Swiss bank UBS AG UBS.NUBSN.VX Friday and formed their own independent investment advisory this week, recruiters said on Wednesday.
A father-and-son broker team, Charles and Paul Huebner, along with John Jagger, joined the parade of financial advisers that have left the big wirehouse brokerage firms during the past year to go independent.
The team, now doing business as Pointe Capital Management, managed about $275 million in client assets and generated some $1.7 million of annual revenue, according to the brokerage recruiting firm Diamond Consultants of Chester, New Jersey.
