ArcelorMittal submits divestments for Ilva deal to EU Commission

BRUSSELS, April 13 (Reuters) - ArcelorMittal, the world’s largest steelmaker, has submitted its divestment proposals to secure EU competition clearance for its purchase of Italian steel producer Ilva, it said on Friday.

The group said the divestments included assets in Italy, Romania, Macedonia, the Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Belgium. (Reporting by Robert-Jan Bartunek Editing by David Goodman)
