IMF says coronavirus poses risk to Austria's economic growth

VIENNA, March 3 (Reuters) - Austria’s economic growth is expected to slow in 2020 with downside risks including weaker growth in its European partners, possible trade disruptions and the impact of coronavirus outbreak, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) said on Tuesday.

“In the event of a downturn, the authorities should allow automatic stabilizers to act and be prepared to use stimulus measures if needed,” the IMF said in a statement.
