March 25 (Reuters) - Britain’s Immunodiagnostic Systems Holdings Plc (IDH.L) forecast adjusted pretax profit in line with expectations for the current financial year and said it expects revenue to rise 43 percent from a year ago, helped by increased trading across the group’s key products.
“Costs remain under control and trading in all of the group’s main territories has increased year on year as well as across the group’s key products,” the company said in a statement on Wednesday.
The producer of diagnostic testing kits said sales into the United States, France and Germany have seen significant growth this year.
The company said prospects for the new financial year look good as it builds upon the launch of fully-automated immunoanalyser - the IDSiSYS.
Revenue for the year ending March 31, 2008 was 18.7 million pounds. This implies that the company expects revenue of about 26.7 million pounds for the year ending March 31.
Analysts on average were expecting revenue of 25.6 million pounds, according to Reuters Estimates.
Shares of the company were up 5.3 percent at 159.5 pence on Wednesday. (Reporting by Purwa Naveen Raman in Bangalore; Editing by Himani Sarkar)
