MUMBAI, May 31 (Reuters) - India’s rice exports in April rose 12 percent from a year earlier to 989,848 tonnes on good demand for non-basmati rice from African countries, a government body said.
Buffalo meat exports jumped nearly 11 percent to 95,296 tonnes, while guar gum exports fell over a quarter to 40,405 tonnes, the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority said in a statement.
