Indian shares extend gains to 2 pct on day

MUMBAI, Nov 22 (Reuters) - Indian shares extended gains to 2 percent on Monday afternoon, recovering from the previous session’s fall as world stocks gains on the Irish bailout.

At 2:47 p.m. (0917 GMT), the 30-share BSE index .BSESN was up 2.01 percent at 19,979.40 points, with 28 components advancing.

The 50-share NSE index .NSEI was up 2.1 percent at 6,014.95. (Reporting by Ami Shah)
