Indonesia's Pertamina signs JV deal with Russia's Rosneft for new Tuban refinery

JAKARTA, Nov 28 (Reuters) - Indonesian energy company PT Pertamina and Russia’s Rosneft Oil Co have signed a joint venture agreement to develop a new refinery in Tuban in East Java, Pertamina said in a statement on Tuesday.

The joint venture, in which Pertamina will have a majority stake, will invest $15 billion to build a refinery and petrochemical plant with a production capacity of 300,000 barrels per day, the statement said. (Reporting by Wilda Asmarini; Writing by Fransiska Nangoy; editing by Richard Pullin)
