IN BRIEF: U.S. House votes in favor of copyright small claims court bill

The U.S. House of Representatives on Tuesday voted overwhelmingly in favor of a bill that would create a streamlined small claims court for copyright disputes.

The House voted 410-6 (with 16 members not voting) to advance the Copyright Alternative in Small-Claims Enforcement Act, or CASE Act.
