Owner of music-sharing service Sharebeast pleads guilty in copyright case

By Jan Wolfe The owner of the once-popular file-sharing website Sharebeast pleaded guilty to criminal copyright infringement, federal prosecutors in Atlanta said on Friday.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Georgia said Artur Sargsyan, 29, pleaded guilty to one felony count of criminal copyright infringement related to his ownership of Sharebeast.
