Online dating giant Match hit with patent infringement lawsuit

A newly created Texas entity on Tuesday hit Match Group Inc, parent company of the dating app Tinder, with a patent infringement lawsuit in plaintiff-friendly Eastern District of Texas.

NetSoc LLC sued Match in U.S. District Court in Marshall, Texas, alleging infringement of a patent relating to “a social network to facilitate people in life issues.”
