IN BRIEF: Intel gets quick escape from chip patent case in West Texas

A federal judge on Monday brought a quick end to a lawsuit accusing Intel Corp of infringing flash memory patents.

In a one-page order, U.S. District Judge Alan Albright in Waco, Texas said key claims in two patents Flash-Control LLC accused Intel memory drives of infringing were invalid.
