Lawsuit accuses Staples of infringing three-ring binder patent

A Hong Kong-based office products company on Friday filed a lawsuit alleging Staples Inc infringed a patent on cushioned tabs for three-ring binders.

World Wide Stationery Manufacturing Co Ltd, which said it is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of metal rings used in binders, sued the office supplies retailer in U.S. District Court in Delaware.
