Wells Fargo slapped with $200 million patent verdict in East Texas

A federal jury on Wednesday said Wells Fargo should pay $200 million for infringing two patents owned by the United Services Automobile Association, a Texas-based insurance and banking giant.

The verdict followed a six-day jury trial before U.S. District Judge Rodney Gilstrap in Marshall, Texas.
