Bombing in Iraq's Basra kills 3, wounds 23

BASRA, Aug 25 (Reuters) - A car driven by a suicide bomber exploded near a Shi‘ite mosque on Thursday in Iraq’s southern oil hub of Basra, killing at least three people and wounding 23 others, according to a provincial police source.

A hospital source said the blast in Basra, 420 km (260 miles) south of Baghdad, killed three and wounded 50.
