iRobot wins Navy contract worth up to $230 mln

WASHINGTON, April 12 (Reuters) - iRobot Corp (IRBT.O) has won a contract valued at up to $230 million to deliver portable robotic systems used by U.S. troops to find and dispose of explosives and carry out reconnaissance, the Pentagon said on Tuesday.

The contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract for procurement of the small robots, repair parts and services, spares, training and various accessories. It runs through April 2015. (Reporting by Andrea Shalal-Esa; Editing by Gary Hill)
