Berlusconi says not worried by Moody's review

BRUSSELS, June 24 (Reuters) - Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said on Friday he is not at all worried by Moody’s threat to cut Italy’s credit ratings, or by the situation of Italy’s banks, which he deemed well capitalised.

“I am not worried at all,” Berlusconi told a news conference in Brussels.

Moody’s has placed its rating of Italy on review for downgrade, and has also said it might cut the credit ratings of 16 highly-rated Italian banks and two government-related financial institutions in the next few weeks.
