Italy to pass housing tax decree after Senate budget, Berlusconi votes -source

ROME, Nov 25 (Reuters) - Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta’s government will pass a decree to scrap an unpopular housing tax after the Senate votes on the 2014 budget and to expel four-time Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi from parliament, a government source told Reuters.

Berlusconi made the removal of the housing tax one of his top issues when he agreed to support the government earlier this year.
