Japan's Chugoku restarts oil-fired unit after problem

TOKYO, March 19 (Reuters) - Chugoku Electric Power Co said it resumed power generation from the 350-megawatt oil-fired No.1 unit at its Tamashima power plant in western Japan on Monday after unplanned repair work.

The unit had been shut for a week due to a water leak from a boiler. (Reporting by Osamu Tsukimori; Editing by Michael Watson)
