Kenya central bank: GDP growth in 2020 to be 6.2%, up from last year

NAIROBI, Jan 28 (Reuters) - Kenya central bank governor Patrick Njoroge said on Tuesday that GDP growth for this year is forecast at 6.2%, up from 5.7% the previous year.

The bank expects the growth to be supported by a recovering agriculture sector, medium and small businesses, and robust private sector credit growth. (Reporting by George Obulutsa; Writing by Katharine Houreld)
