Kenya's shilling drops to its lowest level in nearly two years

NAIROBI, July 25 (Reuters) - Kenya’s shilling dropped to 104.05/20 per dollar on Thursday, its lowest level in almost two years, traders said.

They attributed the drop to uncertainty caused by Monday’s announcement that the finance minister would be charged with financial misconduct. The shilling has lost 0.8 percent since the charges were announced. (Reporting by Duncan Miriri and John Ndiso)
