Kimberly-Clark says CEO to step down next year

Oct 22 (Reuters) - Kimberly-Clark Corp said on Monday Chief Executive Officer Thomas Falk will step down next year and be replaced by Chief Operating Officer Michael Hsu.

Falk will become executive chairman of the board to help ensure smooth transition, the company said.

The Huggies diaper maker also reported better-than-expected quarterly sales and profit, helped by higher prices and strong sales in North America. (Reporting by Soundarya J in Bengaluru Editing by Saumyadeb Chakrabarty)
