SEOUL, March 5 (Reuters) - South Korean Finance Minister Yoon Jeung-hyun said on Friday he expected the job market to improve in the second half of the year as the government was focusing more on job creation and the corporate sector had started hiring.
“The government has shifted focus from unemployment rates to improving hiring rates. In general, companies are announcing plans for hiring. (The job market) will improve significantly, probably in the second half,” Yoon told reporters. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Jonathan Hopfner)
