South Africa's auditor general says retains KPMG as auditor

JOHANNESBURG, Sept 29 (Reuters) - South Africa’s auditor general said on Friday it would retain KPMG as its auditor.

KPMG sacked its South African leadership two weeks ago after it found work the accounting firm had done for companies owned by the Gupta family “fell considerably short” of its standards.

The family has business links with President Jacob Zuma.
