NLRB says In-N-Out Burger unlawfully banned 'Fight for $15' buttons

The National Labor Relations Board has told a U.S. appeals court that In-N-Out Burger Inc violated federal labor law by telling workers in Texas they could not wear buttons supporting the Fight for $15 campaign.

The board in a brief filed on Friday urged the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals to reject the fast food chain’s claim that it was justified in banning buttons that support the minimum-wage movement because it wanted to maintain a “sparkling clean” image.
