6th Circuit tosses migrant workers' profiling claims against Border Patrol

A federal appeals court on Thursday dismissed claims by groups representing migrant farm workers who accused U.S. Border Patrol agents in Ohio of racially profiling Hispanic people.

The 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in a unanimous decision said the AFL-CIO’s Farm Labor Organizing Committee and the Ohio Immigrant Worker Project had not shown that the Border Patrol had any official policy, or even an established custom, of profiling.
