GAZA, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Israeli aircraft fired several missiles in the southern part of the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip on Friday, causing no injuries, Hamas and residents said.
Residents said a series of air strikes targeted "open areas" near the town of Rafah and smuggling tunnels along the border with Egypt.
An Israeli military spokesman confirmed the air strikes but gave no further details.
